Helter Skelter

Kyoko Okazaki was one of the cartoonists I used to like best. Today, I watched a movie, "Helter Skelter", based on her work, which was directed by Mika Ninagawa and starring Erika Sawajiri as "Lilico". Honestly, I can't say it's a nice movie, but Erika Sawajiri was, well, I can only say, just overwhelming. Only for that point, it was good for me to have watched it.

I didn't understand why the director stultified Nao Ohmori to have play like such fool. It looked really old-fashioned and embarassing that the movie used high-school girls chatting loudly as some symbolic thing. This year is 2012. It's not as if the last century. Stop doing like "Love & Pop".
